What is a care bra?
My care bra is a prosthetic bra with soft, pre-shaped cups and more coverage than an usual bra. The flexible shape without wires ensures a comfortable fit. The prosthetic bra also comes with pockets on the inside of the cups that have a stretchable opening for the prosthesis.
I designed the bra based on all the precious feedback and professional advice I received throughout the years. These wireless prosthetic bras give optimal comfort and support. My dream was to help women reconquer their femininity damaged by the disease. Therefore, the tops of the cups are adorned with beautiful play of lines, giving the bra a classy, finishing touch. My Marlies Dekkers care bra offers a combination of care, comfort and class.
A Care bra is designed for women who have one breast or both breasts, fully or partially, operatively removed because of breast cancer. We know many prosthetic bras are plain or not apealing. Therefore, Marlies Dekkers designed a special Care Bra, which is a prosthetic bra but with her own signature style. The classy play of lines on top of the cups give the bra a beautiful finishing touch.
After a mastectomy or lumpectomy, a soft and flexible bra will be most comfortable. The care bra is made to wear after breast cancer surgery. This prosthetic bra has a flexible shape, no wires and a round back for added support. Because of the soft seams and wireless structure, the bra offers optimal comfort. This bra also has stretchable openings for the prosthesis.
